Online Payment (Terms and Conditions)
This online payment system is provided by the National Safety Council (NSC) to its members and non-members as a matter of convenience. NSC may update these terms and conditions from time to time and any changes will be effective immediately on being set out here. Please ensure you are aware of the current terms and conditions.
Terms and Conditions
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using the online payment facility. Using the online payment facility on this website indicates that you accept these terms and conditions. If you do not accept these terms and conditions do not use this facility.
All payments are subject to the following conditions:-
Cancellation/Refund Policy
The cancellation/refund policy of NSC and any subsequent refunds due as a result are contained within the rules and regulations of NSC.
Pricing policy
Delegate fees are fixed.

Security : | All payment details which are entered through this payment gateway are encrypted when the member/non-member, or third party making payment, enters them. Communications to and from the service provider's site are encrypted. NSC shall not be liable for any failure by the member/non-member or third party making payment of fees to properly protect data from being seen on their screen by other persons or otherwise obtained by such persons, during the online payment process or in respect of any omission to provide accurate information in the course of the online payment process. |
Service Provider : | Online payments can be made by credit or debit card or through net-banking. These payments are not collected by NSC directly but by the service provider. Once payment is received by the service provider in cleared funds, the service provider will inform NSC to confirm the details of the successful payment made by the member/non-member, or third party making payment. On receipt of this confirmation NSC will confirm to the member/non-member that the payment has been received and accepted by NSC. In the event that the member/non-member does not receive confirmation within 15 days of making the payment it is the responsibility of the member/non-member to check with NSC that the payment has been accepted. The member/non-member shall remain responsible for the membership, publication, event or other fees until such time as the confirmation as referred to above is received from NSC in relation to each of these amounts owed to NSC. |
Data Protection : | NSC will collect (or may already hold) data relating to the member/non-member, or third party making payment, including name, date of birth, address, telephone no. or any such information as required in accordance with its data protection policy of members/non-members. By agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions the member/non-member, (and any third party making payment), accepts and consents to his/her data, as detailed in clause above, being provided to the service provider for sole purpose of the service provider offering and administering the online payment facility to the member/non-member, or third party making payment. It is the responsibility of the member/non-member, or third party making payment, to ensure that all personal data provided to or held by NSC and/or provided to the service provider is clear and accurate. NSC will not be responsible for any losses suffered by the member/non-member, or third party making payment, as a result of inaccurate information being provided to NSC or the service provider. The use of the personal data in respect of any third party shall be confined to charge of the required payment. NSC may use the personal information provided to it to contact the member/non-member, or third party making payment, to clarify or resolve any issues that arise in connection with any online payment made. Further NSC shall not be responsible for any loss whatsoever if it occurs to any member/non-member or third party on account of hacking the details by any other external personnel. The provision in question is merely a facility provided by NSC to its members/non members or any third agency to avoid undue administrative delays/inconvenience. |
Jurisdiction
All disputes, if any are subject to Mumbai jurisdiction only.
